Roadtrip 2015 Fall: Vancouver - Astoria - Bandon - Anderson - Paso Robles - Palm Desert - Morongo Valley - Sedona - Henderson - Lone Pine - Sacramento - Ashland - Newport - Astoria - Vancouver

Day 7 - Paso Robles to Palm Desert

The World-Famous Keene Eat Deli. This is the view from the outhouse.

Traffic chaos ensues at Kramer junction east of Boron. Go figure.

NASA's new VLNE (Very Large Noodle Extruder) Mark II on the move to their top-secret proving grounds at Edwards Air Force Base. They are hoping to reverse their earlier failures with the innovation of a noodle-pressure release valve - that little thingie sticking out top right. They got the idea from Volkswagen.

Sometimes it's any port in a storm.

The good folks of Victorville are extrememly concerned with the advance of the rocky outcroppings that are overtaking the town. They've tried installation of chain link fencing - but the rocks march on.

This Victorville dentist is clearly on the cutting edge with the practise of Bison dentistry.

The locals became so angered with the strict rules regulating access to the rock pile that they've removed the offending sign.

Ain't nuthin' better than a little highway stroll.

Ahh yes. The fresh clean air of the desert, dressed with forest fire smoke, and whipped into a fondue by these giant smoke beaters.
